Royal Challengers Bangalore must win this game to have a realistic chance of making the playoffs and so they would have been glad to hear Delhi Daredevils were without two key players tonight: Virender Sehwag was unwell and Morne Morkel was rested. They lost the toss, though, and were sent in by Mahela Jayawardene, the home side’s stand-in captain.

Daredevils replaced Sehwag with Unmukt Chand, while Andre Russell came in for Morkel. Royal Challengers made one change, bringing in the seamer Prasanth Parameswaran for left-arm spinner KP Appanna.

If Daredevils win today, they will finish No. 1 in the league and will leave Royal Challengers open to severe competition from Kings XI Punjab and Rajasthan Royals.
